Tonight on The Jazz Legacy, grammy award winning producer Richard Seidel begins a two-part exploration of the brilliant tenor saxophonist and composer Hank Mobley, focusing on his Blue Note recordings from 1963 through 1966.


Often celebrated for his lyrical, unhurried command of the tenor saxophone, Hank Mobley — No Room for Squares showcases him alongside an exceptional circle of musicians including Lee Morgan, Donald Byrd, Herbie Hancock, Andrew Hill, and Philly Joe Jones.
