Funky Friday: Chronicler of Funk

Starting October 3rd, 2025, you can catch Funky Friday every Friday night at 9PM on KCSM HD2, the Bay Area’s Jazz Station to the World.


What began as a student project on KDOG Radio has grown into a syndicated show carried on two stations, with listeners tuning in from around the globe. From KDOG’s campus airwaves to KCSM’s legendary jazz lineage, Funky Friday is honored to bring funk into the jazz family.
